Could not read this whole thing, you lost me at the start. I feel that the thesis statement glosses over a key question of “will this actually improve our lives”.

This is cool tech, and maybe it could improve our lives, but the “radius of daily life” expansion argument does not convince me. In fact, it makes me concerned for an opposite effect.
